I wanted to thank you and Eta and everyone at Best of New Zealand for putting together such a special first ever trip to New Zealand for my wife Tammy and me. We spent a very special three weeks on the South Island. As you know, we started at Nokomai Station, and thoroughly enjoyed the fishing, the history, the food and wine and our hosts Ann and Louise.
Had a wonderful float on the Clutha and then on to the coast, to the glaciers and your wonderful Wave Watcher’s cottage. I barely got my wife out of there! A spectacular and most relaxing place. Finished at Owen River Lodge, which is simply perfect in every way. Felix really does it right. Had good fishing every day but saved the best for last with five big browns between us all over 4 1/2 pounds and a six and seven pounder for Tammy and me.
We can only hope to return and wouldn't think about going again without you to help plan our trip. Many, Many thanks. All our best.
