When the 2022-23 fly fishing season begins in New Zealand (officially in a few days!) the country will once again welcome International anglers. Although there will be challenges, with many trips being delayed for the past couple of years into a single season, one thing is for certain... the country will still be stunning and the fish will still be incredible to catch!

While Covid has affected the entire world, for the most part (as of the time of this blog post) it is a thing of the past in the United States. Masks are no longer required throughout our every day lives and, while we still think about the ramifications of the pandemic, many people want to travel and explore the world again.

So what has changed?

Well, as a team, one of the things that we have seen from our own clients is the desire to get back into nature. Guided hikes, day walks, multi-day hikes are all very popular. For anglers, we think that camping and glamping will be a trend that continues to be more and more popular. New Zealand, albeit a small country, does have fantastic opportunities to get into the bush and enjoy multi-day fishing trips.
