Stonefly Lodge is situated on 150 acres of private forest on the banks of the Motueka River in the northwest region of the South Island. Only 50 minutes from Nelson, this lodge is centrally located among three of New Zealand's major National Parks (Abel Tasman, Nelson Lake and Kahurangi National Park). The lodge offers access to world-class brown trout rivers, spectacular scenery and wilderness activies. With easy access by helicopter anglers can also be on the Karamea, The Crow, The Roaring Lion, etc. within minutes.

Poronui has been listed as one of the top 10 fishing lodges in the world by Forbes FYI. This vast private high country estate has 25 miles of world-class fishing water and offers a variety of fishing options. Cast small dry flies over spring creeks, take float trips on a wilderness stream or use an option of a dramatic helicopter fly-out to remote mountain freestone streams or deep clear pools where huge trout cautiously cruise.
