Beautiful Winter Morning in New Zealand

This morning we received a photo from a friend in New Zealand- Geoff Venning of Real New Zealand tours. This photo was taken in Twizel, which is a prime fly fishing area on the South Island. We thought we would share as a way of reminding you of the beauty of New Zealand and that all of this cover will soon drip into the clear streams and rivers which make up the Mackenzie basin and the West Coast.

New Zealand closed it borders for over two years during the pandemic. Although the country has been open since May International visitors have not been able to cast to these fish... and won't until the season opens in Sept of 2023 (depending on the area).

Contact a member of our team today and be one of the first back to New Zealand. Casting to these fish early 22/23 will be a unique time. Fish have not seen an artificial fly presented to them in years!
