Tongariro Lodge, established in 1984, is a world renowned fishing lodge and a proven classic.
The Lodge provides some of New Zealand's most experienced and best flyfishing guides, along with unparalled access to over 30 wilderness rivers and four lakes, via 4WD vehicles, helicopter, lodge rafts and boats -- with overnight campouts also an option.
Exceptional flyfishing is available year round in the most productive rivers in New Zealand.
Guests enjoy the best of food, wine and hospitality and are accommodated in superb private chalets on 22 acres of parklike grounds on the banks of the world famous Tongariro River.
An all weather tennis court, spa pool and massages are also available to guests.
The Lodge is located on the doorstep of the Tongariro World Heritage National Park and a host of other activities are available including:
