Materials
- HOOK: #8 - 10, 4X long.
- TAIL: Brown hackle fibres.
- BODY: Dark Olive Chenille, medium.
- HACKLE: Brown, tied palmer
Bind hook shank from eye to bend. Tie in olive chenille & tip of ginger feather. |
Wind chenille up to eye and trim. |

Palmer hackle up to the eye. |
Give Hackle a 'crew cut' leaving only untidy 'stubble' protruding from body. |

"When the fly is tied, clip top and both sides of hackle fibres close to body. This leaves bottom fibres only, giving the appearance of a dark shrimp.
