Materials

  1. HOOK: #8 - 10, 4X long.
  2. TAIL: Brown hackle fibres.
  3. BODY: Dark Olive Chenille, medium.
  4. HACKLE: Brown, tied palmer

1 Bind hook shank from eye to bend. Tie in olive chenille & tip of ginger feather.   2 Wind chenille up to eye and trim.
3 Palmer hackle up to the eye.   4 Give Hackle a 'crew cut' leaving only untidy 'stubble' protruding from body.
5 "When the fly is tied, clip top and both sides of hackle fibres close to body. This leaves bottom fibres only, giving the appearance of a dark shrimp.   The finished Fly -- surely the easiest of patterns to tie!
