Heartland Lodge, Twizel

Welcome to our lovely, large, comfortable, purpose-built homestay lodge in the heart of the beautiful and awesome Mackenzie country, renowned for its spectacular turquoise lakes and snow capped mountains. Twizel is an ideal stop-over between Christchurch and Queenstown and we are only 45 minutes from Mt Cook National park,which offers several spectacular walking tracks, as well as flight-seeing trips around Mt Cook. Our aim is to make your stay with us as comfortable and relaxed as possible. Our upstairs smoke-free guest rooms offer beautiful views of the Southern Alps and are luxuriously appointed with king double or twin beds, electric blankets, feather duvets, and ensuites with spa baths and showers. We offer complimentary tea/coffee, laundry facilities and email, and are happy to help with forward bookings for accommodation or activities. Megan, our black labrador, will also extend a warm welcome.
