	Beluga offers you the choice of a stylish Bed and Breakfast, the secluded luxury of the Garden Suite or the independence of the delightfully restored Minke House. All set in an exquisite garden, enthusiastically created by Beluga’s owner Di Harris. The Mt Hutt Ski Area is only 20 minutes drive away, offering some of the best and most consistent snow conditions in the southern hemisphere. Trout and Salmon fishing in the area is suburb and the scenery amazing. Over the Rakaia Gorge is Terrace Downs, an 18-hole international golf course which has been rated among the top 3 in New Zealand. 10 minutes from Beluga is the Methven Golf Club, another 18 hole course, which hosted the New Zealand Women’s Nationals in 1999.
	The B&B - originally built in 1909 and continually renovated, has 6 superbly appointed rooms. The lounge in the B&B is a marvelous place to relax. The roaring open fire, music of your choice and a tall G&T. Imagine curling up on one of the comfy overstuffed couches, browsing through one of the fascinating books you will find on the bookshelves and sipping a glass of New Zealand wine from the honesty bar. Breakfast (cooked and continental) is served from 7.00 am. The outdoor hydro therapy pool is a brilliant spot to relax and contemplate….. Beluga is equipped with wireless broadband Internet access for guests with WiFi-capable laptops or PDAs, and has an Ethernet jack for non-wireless connections. The system supports 802.11b and 802.11g wireless access, and most Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) as well. For guests without a laptop or PDA, Beluga has a desktop computer available, and an email address (beluga.business@xtra.co.nz) for your use during your stay.
	This garden suite is set amongst the one acre garden and is very private. French doors open on to a sun drenched patio complete with BBQ and out door seating. Breakfast (cooked and continental) is served from 7.00am in the lodge or it can be delivered to your room. The outdoor hydro therapy pool is right next door to your patio and is a great place to sit and contemplate………….
